Who would have believed it, I’ve managed to complete part of my resolution
’- Keeping track of content I produce, videos, blogs, comments and audio recordings - all in disparate places at this moment.’
It’s all over at http://thisismycontent.co.uk - where this will magically appear/is appearing.
I’m also ensuring that I’m tagging things on Delicious with my name, or the word comment to help feed them in - which falls into the bit about engaging more.
Happy days so far.
There won’t just be one resolution. Instead there will be many, hopefully they will be easily measurable and not too fluffy - but I’m not promising myself anything.
Record more of my life:
- By taking more pictures, of my surroundings, events and friends.
- Keeping track of content I produce, videos, blogs, comments and audio recordings - all in disparate places at this moment.
Research and write more.
- There are tons of thing that interest me but I’d like to look further into X analysis
- Write more blog posts (2 a month on food or data)
- Comment more on sites that interest me.
Take more time to attend events within my spheres of interest
- Attend, and cover what I see at SXSWi
- Goto two new events or festivals I’ve not been too before.
I’ll be taking a monthly review at how I do against these resolutions for change. As well as highlighting examples of successful completions.
Neil
Like a vast majority of people, I try and set myself resolutions every year.
Though rather than resolutions, I like to consider them as opportunities. As with anything which involves targets, then I like to measure how I achieve against them.
This Tumblr is to help me keep track, it’s not meant to be amazing articles or insights into how things should be done.
Instead, it’s my way of showing myself whether I’ve managed to achieve them - and also a log of when I managed to (sometimes it’s better to consider things in fragments - rather than a whole; so even if I don’t do everything, then I can see how far I got). Thanks for dropping by, Neil
